public final class ViewAssociation

Views are associated using ViewAssociations, forming parent-child networks. Each view may have zero or one parents and many children. Views are created and associated to form a heirarchy the company uses to formalize the stages of development against versions. Versions are received or accepted by downstream views at appropriate times (and as determined by company policy); when received, the version is either modified to meet group (or view) specific needs or used as is. A typical example has Engineering feeding Manufacturing.

Use the newViewAssociation static factory method(s), not the ViewAssociation constructor, to construct instances of this class. Instances must be constructed using the static factory(s), in order to ensure proper initialization of the instance.
