public class IndexPolicyList

extends WTObject

implements Externalizable

The IndexPolicyList contains all indexers that apply to a specific indexable object type for a specific event in a given state. IndexPolicyList objects are derived from the index policy rules and are maintained independently for performance reasons.

An IndexPolicyList object contains a Selector object and an IndexerSet. The selector acts as a locator (or hash key) for the list. The IndexerSet contains all indexers for the object that match the selector. Lists are stored persistently but are not directly subject to access control. They are also cached to speed up processing.

Use the newIndexPolicyList static factory method(s), not the IndexPolicyList constructor, to construct instances of this class. Instances must be constructed using the static factory(s), in order to ensure proper initialization of the instance.
